[So with all the cold and snow that's been blowing around Luceti lately, Eley's finding that his human body isn't quite as strong as he thought it would be. Living a nomadic existence, he's been wandering the forest and the village, staying out in the cold for days (and nights) at a time, but now it seems to be taking its toll...

Anyone passing by the outskirts of the village might find the Spirit just sitting in the snow, all bundled up in all the winter clothes he'd been given for Christmas, shivering and sneezing and looking rather sorry for himself. Anyone with the power to will sense that he's pretty sick. He seems to have no energy to move and is trying to conserve it by staying in one place.

If he doesn't want the sickness to get worse though, he'd better muster up the energy to go and find some shelter somewhere!]

[Saleh is well on his way to another patrol, pretty well covered for the weather. He's even wearing the scarf that Eley had given him. However, he can't help but notice the spirit sitting in the snow. The shivering and sneezing is both surprising and concerning.]

...Eleytheria?

[He might have been more openly pleased to see that Saleh was wearing the scarf he had given to him, but at the moment, Eley seems a little more concerned with himself. Still, he's glad to see a friendly face.]

Saleh... I am feeling rather... unwell.

[Action]

[mountain_sage]

[Saleh looks him over carefully.]

I can see that. I just didn't think it was possible for one like you to get sick...

[Action]

[winds_voice]

Nor did I... [He admits, pausing to stifle a sneeze.] I... I can only assume that this is a... result of gaining a more human body here.

[He looks up at Saleh now with almost pleading eyes.]

What should I do?

[Admittedly, not being used to cold weather himself made Rudy less likely to stray too far from the village. It isn't something to be underestimated, after all. There seemed to be a cold going around and after seeing Jane come down with it, he's made sure to bundle up. Fortunately, he has no shortage of warm clothing, among them being the scarf given to him by Eley.

But even so, it still doesn't stop him from going out, even if it's just short walks around the village. However, he doesn't quite expect to find the older wind spirit sitting, and shivering in the snow. That was definitely worrying. Concerned, he wastes no time approaching the spirit.]

Hey, you okay?

[winds_voice]

[Eley wasn't sure if anyone would come across him out here really. It was cold, and not many people seemed to like the cold. He'd settled on the outskirts to watch as he usually did, trying to go about his business and ignore the strange sickness that had come over him.

Still, it seemed people would find him in the end. Rudy being one of them. Naturally he comes closer, looking concerned about him.]

Rudy. I... seem to have contracted an illness. It seems this new body of mine is... weaker than I thought.

[ofwesternwinds]

You too, huh...

[Frowning, Rudy looks over Eley more carefully. He removes one of his gloves before moving to place his hand on the older man's forehead, checking his temperature. He really can't imagine what Eley is doing out here in the cold like this. Rudy was aware that he normally lived out in the woods, but... surely he had some place in the village to stay once winter arrived, right?]

You don't look good at all. What are you doing out here?

[winds_voice]

[Eley doesn't offer up much resistance to Rudy's touch, despite not being particularly used to it. He no doubt has a temperature already after sitting out in the cold for so long.]

I... did not want to impose. I believed I would be fine out here. Apparently... I was wrong.

[Excuse him while he sneezes again.]

[Unfortunately for Eley, she didn't recognize him from where she was, and to make things worse she was also approaching him from behind. So what did she decide to do during this somewhat awkward predicament?

Well, poke him of course. This was totally a useful course of action, really.]

[winds_voice]

[In different circumstances he might have been a bit more alert to people walking up behind him. In this case he doesn't seem to respond... at least not until Jane's poking him and he flinches, turning back to spot her. He's a little drowsy so it takes him a moment to recall who it is.]

Jane...?

[disastergirl]

You got my name right, but...

[She tilted her head and raised an eyebrow.]

Were you sleeping in the snow or something? Because that's what it looked like.

[winds_voice]

Sleeping? I... no, I was not sleeping.

[But now he's sneezing if that's any indication of what was going on.]

I appear to have lost my energy... I thought it better to rest until I felt... well again.

[And resting out here in the cold with a cold was perfectly normal, right?]

[Spock... knew something was wrong...

So he bundled up as well as he could, and grabbed a walking stick.
With great concentration, he made his way to where Eley was huddling in this snow...

...This is what he had been feeling. Fascinating. His blindness was causing his other senses to be greatly heightened...they have never been this strong before.]

Mister Eleytheria?

[Eley wasn't expecting anyone to approach really, especially not Spock, who seemed to have found his way to him despite his handicap. Obviously those senses he mentioned before were working well for him.

...of course Eley couldn't help but recall what had happened the last time they met. Perhaps he would have been a little more reactive to it if he didn't already feel terrible.]

Spock... What are you doing out here?

[He says drowsily, before finishing with a sneeze.]

[spohkh]

[Spock tilts his head...]

I should ask you the same question Eleytheria. You are not well. [That was not a question, a definite statement.]

Please come with me, and I will get you somewhere warm... [Spock actually holds out his hand in Eley's general direction.]

[winds_voice]

[Well... at least he got to the point. Eley knew that he wasn't well, even if he didn't fully understand what was happening exactly. He hesitates at the outstretched hand, but he feels that warmth was probably a good idea and... he didn't want to make things worse for himself. So finally he reaches out to take it and pushes himself to his feet.]

I am not familiar with illness... it seems this body comes with its own weaknesses. Lacking energy, I thought that rest would help, but I suppose the cold does not allow for good rest.

[ Oh dear. Oh dear is that...Eleytheria?! Helios is just walking back from the library when he spots the wind spirit in a rather dire state of being. He will come over in a hurry, a worried concerned look on his features. He'll bend down to look at the bundled spirit, green eyes looking over the other to make sure nothing else is wrong. ] Eleytheria? What are you d-doing out here? We should get you out of the c-cold, before you get any worse.

[winds_voice]

[Eley squints up at the hurrying figure, realising just who it is as he gets closer and speaks to him.]

Helios... I... I began to feel unwell so I sat down to rest. However... I am not sure if this is helping.

[He pauses.]

Where should I go?

[folklorist]

Goodness, no. we need to get you inside and dried off. Ah. I-I'll bring you back to the house. It's not t-too far from here, are you well enough to walk a little? [ Helios will conjure up a fireball in that instant and the air around the two of them will get considerably warmer. ]

[Well, he hadn't expected to find Eley here, and especially not in this condition. Poor guy. Wings fluttering with concern, he crouches down.]

Eley?

[action]

[If his wings weren't covered up, he might have noticed that Eley's plumage didn't appear to be in the best condition, mimicking the condition of his body right now. The Spirit barely even notices Tsuzuki's approach until he speaks his name and he looks up to find him looking down with concern.]

Tsuzuki? I appear to be suffering from illness...

Yes, I can see that.

[Without asking for permission, he touches Eley's forehead to check his temperature. Just the sight of him causes him to worry.]

Not good. How long have you been sitting out here?

[Action]

[Oh dear, that isn't a good sight at all. Grune is just returning from one of her many walks in the woods when she notices one very miserable-looking friend.]

Eley? Are you all right?

[Did he fall down?]

[Action]

[winds_voice]

[Hmm? Give him a moment to focus on whoever said that... He appears rather snuffly and it might be noticeable that he has a cold just from the sound of his voice.]

Grune? Ah... I am feeling rather... unwell.

[Action]

[Again: oh dear. She bends down and holds out her hand.]

If you have a cold, you should go home and rest. It's not good to be outside in the snow if you aren't feeling well.
