[So with all the cold and snow that's been blowing around Luceti lately, Eley's finding that his human body isn't quite as strong as he thought it would be. Living a nomadic existence, he's been wandering the forest and the village, staying out in the cold for days (and nights) at a time, but now it seems to be taking its toll...

Anyone passing by the outskirts of the village might find the Spirit just sitting in the snow, all bundled up in all the winter clothes he'd been given for Christmas, shivering and sneezing and looking rather sorry for himself. Anyone with the power to will sense that he's pretty sick. He seems to have no energy to move and is trying to conserve it by staying in one place.

If he doesn't want the sickness to get worse though, he'd better muster up the energy to go and find some shelter somewhere!]

[Saleh is well on his way to another patrol, pretty well covered for the weather. He's even wearing the scarf that Eley had given him. However, he can't help but notice the spirit sitting in the snow. The shivering and sneezing is both surprising and concerning.]

...Eleytheria?

[He might have been more openly pleased to see that Saleh was wearing the scarf he had given to him, but at the moment, Eley seems a little more concerned with himself. Still, he's glad to see a friendly face.]

Saleh... I am feeling rather... unwell.

[Saleh looks him over carefully.]

I can see that. I just didn't think it was possible for one like you to get sick...

Nor did I... [He admits, pausing to stifle a sneeze.] I... I can only assume that this is a... result of gaining a more human body here.

[He looks up at Saleh now with almost pleading eyes.]

What should I do?

Perhaps. Humans are more susceptible to illness when exposed to the cold for long periods at a time. So the first thing we need to do is get inside. We can either eat a bowl of hot soup, or drink a hot cup of tea. And then we spend most of the time resting in bed until we recover.

So, shall we head back to my place?

[Admittedly, not being used to cold weather himself made Rudy less likely to stray too far from the village. It isn't something to be underestimated, after all. There seemed to be a cold going around and after seeing Jane come down with it, he's made sure to bundle up. Fortunately, he has no shortage of warm clothing, among them being the scarf given to him by Eley.

But even so, it still doesn't stop him from going out, even if it's just short walks around the village. However, he doesn't quite expect to find the older wind spirit sitting, and shivering in the snow. That was definitely worrying. Concerned, he wastes no time approaching the spirit.]

Hey, you okay?

I see. That would... make sense. I am not normally so long in such freezing conditions either. This enclosure makes things difficult.

Ah, if you are sure you... would not mind. I appreciate the offer.

[All right, time to muster up some energy and get up. He'll push himself to his feet now, sniffling a bit and obviously feeling drowsy, but at least he's up. Now to get him somewhere warm...]

[Eley wasn't sure if anyone would come across him out here really. It was cold, and not many people seemed to like the cold. He'd settled on the outskirts to watch as he usually did, trying to go about his business and ignore the strange sickness that had come over him.

Still, it seemed people would find him in the end. Rudy being one of them. Naturally he comes closer, looking concerned about him.]

Rudy. I... seem to have contracted an illness. It seems this new body of mine is... weaker than I thought.

You too, huh...

[Frowning, Rudy looks over Eley more carefully. He removes one of his gloves before moving to place his hand on the older man's forehead, checking his temperature. He really can't imagine what Eley is doing out here in the cold like this. Rudy was aware that he normally lived out in the woods, but... surely he had some place in the village to stay once winter arrived, right?]

You don't look good at all. What are you doing out here?

[Saleh moves closer, moving in to support him, and then he'll begin leading the way into the village.]

Here, lean on me.

[Unfortunately for Eley, she didn't recognize him from where she was, and to make things worse she was also approaching him from behind. So what did she decide to do during this somewhat awkward predicament?

Well, poke him of course. This was totally a useful course of action, really.]

[Eley doesn't offer up much resistance to Rudy's touch, despite not being particularly used to it. He no doubt has a temperature already after sitting out in the cold for so long.]

I... did not want to impose. I believed I would be fine out here. Apparently... I was wrong.

[Excuse him while he sneezes again.]

[Well... this was different. Eley had been on the opposite side of this support system before, he wasn't used to being the one in trouble. Still, he'll gladly accept Saleh's help and walk through the village with him.]

Thank you... you did not have to do this for me.

[In different circumstances he might have been a bit more alert to people walking up behind him. In this case he doesn't seem to respond... at least not until Jane's poking him and he flinches, turning back to spot her. He's a little drowsy so it takes him a moment to recall who it is.]

Jane...?

I can't stand to leave people to suffer. After all, you came to me when I was suffering.

[Saleh leads the Spirit into C7, and then straight to his room. It's times like this when he's glad to be on the first floor.]

You got my name right, but...

[She tilted her head and raised an eyebrow.]

Were you sleeping in the snow or something? Because that's what it looked like.

[Spock... knew something was wrong...

So he bundled up as well as he could, and grabbed a walking stick.
With great concentration, he made his way to where Eley was huddling in this snow...

...This is what he had been feeling. Fascinating. His blindness was causing his other senses to be greatly heightened...they have never been this strong before.]

Mister Eleytheria?

... [Eley fell silent at that as they made their way to Saleh's room. Thoughtful. There was a time when he had helped many humans and had gained their help in return. It saddened him somewhat that it was so difficult for him to accept such help now. Very few people received it from him too.

Once he made it to Saleh's room he might have collapsed straight on the bed. However, he was more restrained than that, and already felt as though he was intruding.]

Ah, I should sit down and rest. I do not want to get in your way so... anywhere will do.

[Even the floor.]

Sleeping? I... no, I was not sleeping.

[But now he's sneezing if that's any indication of what was going on.]

I appear to have lost my energy... I thought it better to rest until I felt... well again.

[And resting out here in the cold with a cold was perfectly normal, right?]

[Eley wasn't expecting anyone to approach really, especially not Spock, who seemed to have found his way to him despite his handicap. Obviously those senses he mentioned before were working well for him.

...of course Eley couldn't help but recall what had happened the last time they met. Perhaps he would have been a little more reactive to it if he didn't already feel terrible.]

Spock... What are you doing out here?

[He says drowsily, before finishing with a sneeze.]

Here...

[Saleh leads him to the extra bed, gesturing for him to lay down.]

Please do not worry about "getting in my way." Let us focus on your recovery. I will prepare some hot tea.

[The Spirit hesitates at first but finally gives in and lies down on the bed, sinking into the pillows... it gives him a great sense of relief to be resting like this. He hadn't realised it would be so useful.]

Thank you, Saleh... But what exactly is wrong with me?

Hmm...it seems like you have a cold, or perhaps even a flu. Those illnesses give symptoms of sniffling, sneezing, and sometimes a fever. It is important to rest and keep warm while these symptoms persist.

[ Oh dear. Oh dear is that...Eleytheria?! Helios is just walking back from the library when he spots the wind spirit in a rather dire state of being. He will come over in a hurry, a worried concerned look on his features. He'll bend down to look at the bundled spirit, green eyes looking over the other to make sure nothing else is wrong. ] Eleytheria? What are you d-doing out here? We should get you out of the c-cold, before you get any worse.

...I see. Then I was foolish to stay outside in the snow. I did not quite understand what was happening.

[He feels slightly embarrassed now but at least he's in the warm where he supposedly should be. He's grateful he has someone he trusts enough here to help in the first place.]
