[So with all the cold and snow that's been blowing around Luceti lately, Eley's finding that his human body isn't quite as strong as he thought it would be. Living a nomadic existence, he's been wandering the forest and the village, staying out in the cold for days (and nights) at a time, but now it seems to be taking its toll...

Anyone passing by the outskirts of the village might find the Spirit just sitting in the snow, all bundled up in all the winter clothes he'd been given for Christmas, shivering and sneezing and looking rather sorry for himself. Anyone with the power to will sense that he's pretty sick. He seems to have no energy to move and is trying to conserve it by staying in one place.

If he doesn't want the sickness to get worse though, he'd better muster up the energy to go and find some shelter somewhere!]

[Should they? In an ideal world Eley would say no, they shouldn't... but altruism was a concept he failed to understand as was clear in this case. Something else for him to ponder over.

At least when he was less sick. The longer they stayed in the cold, the more weak and woozy he became.]

Mmm... regardless of your reasons, I appreciate your assistance... I had never known human illness could be so... inconvenient.

[Fortunately for the most part, Rudy is strong enough to support the older man's weight as they walk. As much as he doesn't normally evade questions like that, the cold is biting enough that both of them shouldn't stay out for too long. It isn't often Rudy becomes ill, but it does still happen occasionally.]

Yeah, I know I've been there before. Come to think of it, there was something my grandfather would always make that sometimes helped, but...

[It tastes absolutely terrible. :|||| Which is exactly why Eley may be hearing a slightly nervous-sounding laugh coming out of him. Sure, it helped and he learned to deal with the taste over time, but it's still not exactly something he'd touch otherwise.]

[That laugh just seems to make him more curious however. What was so bad about a solution to this problem that would prompt him to act so nervously?]

Tell me, what did he used to make? Perhaps... you could replicate it. If it would help.

[Honestly, he'd try anything at this point, it's not as if he knows much about medicine or general healing practice!]
