[Eley is in a thoughtful mood, and when that kind of mood strikes him he starts to question things again... Feelings, usually. Human behaviours too. Today he's realised something and wants to ask the people of Luceti about it. As usual he's sitting on the outskirts of town with his journal on the ground in front of him, pointing up at his face as he looks down.]

Today I come to you with another question. 'Fun' is a concept I have not yet come to understand. As I will need to find ways of occupying myself during my stay in Luceti, I want to ask you all - what do you do for fun?

Perhaps I can give these things a try.

If that is the case then it sounds rather... disgusting. I am sure I have never done anything like that before.

But seriously, fun is something you have to discover for yourself. The people who are the loudest about it usually have the weirdest ideas about it, either way.

...then I wonder, what kind of ideas have you heard from these people? I am open to all suggestions. Now I wonder what you would consider 'weird'.

[After all, he'd already seen a general consensus on certain activities. Why not learn about those more outside the norm?]

People generally think parties are fun.

[ her tone practically already betrays she doesn't think the same at all. ]

...I feel as though you disagree. I have only been to one such event. It was not terribly unpleasant, though I am not sure I would go out of my way to join one myself.

[He's far more likely to go if invited or coaxed.]

Do you prefer to be alone, perhaps?

Not necessarily. It depends on what kind of company there is. [ At least she's being fairly honest and straightforward about it now. ] I'd rather not hang out with idiots, but some others aren't too bad. The problem is that most parties are just filled with idiots.

I have little experience with parties, but from that limited experience it seems that many people like to let go of their inhibitions during them. Alcohol also seems to make people act... differently. Are there really parties where these 'idiots' are not present?

Nope. Unfortunately finding a party without idiots is impossible.

[ Or so Ange thinks, but she's.. well, super cynical, of course. ]

That's why I avoid them as much as I can.
