[For those who pass by Eley today as he wanders through the village, they might notice there's something a bit... off about him. Perhaps it won't become readily apparent until they speak with him, but there's an almost hopeless look in his eyes and he seems almost reluctant to make any move to do anything himself. He might stop in front of a shop as if wondering if he should go inside... only to change his mind. Others also might see him watching them doing whatever they're doing, a look that tells them 'no, don't do that'. It's unnerving to say the least. Maybe someone should find out what's going on with him!

At some point he ends up sitting by his recently planted tree up on the Cherry Blossom Hill. It's here he makes a short and rather strange recording.]

[Voice]

I am beginning to wonder why I keep trying. Trying to mend things that are broken, trying to fit in where I do not belong, trying to express feelings I do not understand... and every time I regret how helpless and fruitless I am.

I cannot save anyone... I could not save those who came before.

I should give up. And so should all of you. After all, you cannot regret a decision you never made.

(OOC: So it's time for Eley to be suffering under the effects of the Heart Shard of Regret! Feel free to talk to him about his odd mood or find him under the tree/wandering the village~)

[Eley is in a thoughtful mood, and when that kind of mood strikes him he starts to question things again... Feelings, usually. Human behaviours too. Today he's realised something and wants to ask the people of Luceti about it. As usual he's sitting on the outskirts of town with his journal on the ground in front of him, pointing up at his face as he looks down.]

Today I come to you with another question. 'Fun' is a concept I have not yet come to understand. As I will need to find ways of occupying myself during my stay in Luceti, I want to ask you all - what do you do for fun?

Perhaps I can give these things a try.

[After attempting to siphon off some of the excess energy Saori had been suffering with a couple of days before, Eleytheria had been making his way slowly through the forest, trying to head for the mountains. His journal currently recording his progress, you'll be able to see Eley at an angle as he walks... well staggers, his body strangely ghost-like and flickering in and out of view. He's obviously tired, and those mountains seem a long way away...]

If anyone is watching this... I would appreciate your assistance. While I will recover... this will be a slow process alone. Though I know you must all have your own gods... and that some of you do not usually get involved with them in the first place, all I wish to request... is a prayer.

[Of course, it may not work the same here as in his own world, but he's willing to ask and try it. And anyone who wants to go out there and help him directly can feel free to as well.]

It seems we have had more new arrivals to Luceti since I first arrived here. I believe it is appropriate to greet and welcome them so... welcome. My name is Eleytheria. I am a Wind Spirit. I do not know how I can be of help to you but you are welcome to approach me and... ask any questions.

[He doesn't sound too sure about that but hey, he's trying!]

[He pauses. There has been something on his mind of late, what with a new temple surfacing. Perhaps he should ask a few questions. Jane had told him to be more forward and talk to people after all...]

To everyone who is listening to this I have a rather... personal query. You are under no obligation to respond to it, but I would like to learn from you and learn from your worlds. Before coming to Luceti, I had no idea so many more worlds existed, each with their own forms of 'gods' and 'spirits', their own methods of worship. Even in Luceti it seems that there are spiritual beings residing. In my world, we Spirits were born to regulate the environment, though some newer Spirits were also born from other means... intense emotions for example. I govern the sky, the wind and the clouds. I am also a deity of sorts to the people of the floating kingdom of Agkelos. We help one another and have a strong relationship with one another.

So tell me... what do you worship? What do you believe in? How seriously do you take your religion? More importantly... have you ever stopped believing? If so, why?
