[Eley is in a thoughtful mood, and when that kind of mood strikes him he starts to question things again... Feelings, usually. Human behaviours too. Today he's realised something and wants to ask the people of Luceti about it. As usual he's sitting on the outskirts of town with his journal on the ground in front of him, pointing up at his face as he looks down.]

Today I come to you with another question. 'Fun' is a concept I have not yet come to understand. As I will need to find ways of occupying myself during my stay in Luceti, I want to ask you all - what do you do for fun?

Perhaps I can give these things a try.

[Not at the same time? That gets a wondering look from Eley. But he doesn't pursue it.]

I thought that drinking was a natural process for humans to stay alive. How is this fun?

[Yes he thinks you mean drinking in general~]

[Sometimes he forgets how sheltered you are, Eley.]

Drinking alcohol. Not water. Have you had a drink with alcohol in it before?

[Oh... ohh! The understanding finally sinks in. Of course, people did seem to enjoy alcohol. Tsuzuki seemed pretty happy the last time Eley encountered him drunk after all.

Still, he has to shake his head.]

I have never tried it myself.

It makes you feel relaxed, so maybe we should try it sometime.

[And well, that's only half the truth. He figures he ought to be straight with him.]

But it also makes you kind of stupid, especially if you drink a lot.

Hmm... from experience it does seem as though I need to relax more. I would be willing to try, I think.

[It can make you stupid though? Ah yes, of course. Intoxication leading humans to do things they otherwise wouldn't.]

How do you know how much you should have before you become... stupid?

[Tsuzuki's smile widens. He's wanted a real drinking buggy for a long time.]

Trial and error, mostly. It helps to have a good friend with you, someone that can take care of you if you accidentally drink too much.

[WELL judging from that smile, there's only one thing that Eley can really gather from this response.]

...are you offering to take care of me if I try it?

[He smiles mischievously.]

Of course. Just say the word!

[He sees that mischievous smile... but Tsuzuki had never done anything to indicate a threat so far. Perhaps he would try this sooner rather than later.]

I am not sure what the word is, but I am ready whenever you are.

We could have a drink tonight, if you don't have anything else planned.

[He nods at that. Since when did Eley have anything planned?]

I am not expected to be anywhere in particular. I would like to take you up on that offer.

That's great. [Besides, it's not like Tsuzuki plans much these days, either.]

Have you been to 7th heaven yet? Their drinks are good. And they have food there too, if you get hungry.

I cannot say I have. And while I do not need to eat to survive, I have become curious about tasting different foods while staying in Luceti. Perhaps I will try something to eat as well.

You're supposed to enjoy the food you're eating, not just eat to survive!

[Oh Eley. You have so much to learn.]

Have you had cinnabons yet?

...food is another thing people enjoy?

[So, so much. But hey, he's enjoying learning too! Maybe he can have fun with that.]

I cannot say I have heard of a cinnabon.

Yes! Some flavors are so good that it can make you happy. You can even use food as gifts!

[If he comes across as excited, it's because he is. Food = ♥]

They're so good. The only food that's better is apple pies.

Gifts? Hmm...

[That was another thing that Eley still had to learn about - when gifts were appropriate. fff and while Tsuzuki is getting all excited about this, Eley will just be naturally stoic as always. Well, it's easier over video anyway~]

You seem convinced of this. I might just have to try them at the next opportunity.

It depends on the food, of course. But chocolates are in general good gifts.

[He notices that Eley doesn't look exactly convinced, but he's sure that if he actually tries cinnabons, he will change his mind.]

I don't think you'll regret it.
