[Whoever's watching the feed right now can probably tell that something's not quite right. Not only does Eley look blackened and sore as if he had been scorched somehow, but the tree behind him also looks as though it has met a similar fate, with shattered branches and charred bark.
And in his hands, he's holding some remnant of what might have been a scarf at one time, though right now it looks like nothing more than a rag.]
Why would anyone do this? How could they... enjoy such a thing?
[He sounds tired, disappointed, though that quickly turns to bitter anger.]
Edmundo the Blade has made an enemy of me. He has shown nothing but disrespect. I should not have let him get this far. If only I was not so complacent, so tied to the path of peace, this would not have happened. My tree...
[Yes, he's more concerned about the tree than he is about himself right now.]
If anyone knows a way to repair the damage, I would be grateful to you.

I'm coming by. I'll be right there Eley. [ And he is, indeed, right there in about five minutes time. As with all his teleporting a flash of light follows him and he's by the spirit's side with a worried look on his face. ]
Why. W-why did he... [ He didn't even know who they were but out of all the things they destroyed...why this tree in particular? ]

Seeing the concern on his friend's face as well as that pity, only seemed to lead the Spirit to feel more ashamed about the mess.]
I do not know... It seems that sometimes humans do not need much motivation to turn to violence. He was a braggart... and cruel. Such a man should not be welcome in Luceti.

[ He'll look back at the spirit with a soft smile. ] If you wouldn't mind me trying it?

[No pressure or anything, Helios... But he really does feel that he can rely on him to keep the tree in top condition, even after a disaster like this.]
I would also be interested in witnessing this... dryad magic for myself.

There. That-that should do for now.

...then once Helios was done, the Spirit couldn't help but hear the signs of exertion from his friend. He looks to him, concerned.]
Thank you... But are you all right? I do not wish to trade the health of my tree for your own.

[ Nevermind that he felt like passing out. He probably shouldn't have teleported and used such a spell within such a short time frame, but hindsight. ] The b-barrier makes it a bit...hard to, ah, do such spells one after the other.

[He tries to push himself up at that, shifting his weight, to get as comfortable as he can. Once he's settled again, he looks up at the renewed tree, thoughtful.]
I am sorry you had to see your work in such a state... that you had to exert yourself to mend it. I should have been able to protect it myself. I could have... if I had not held back.

[ Helios looks tired now. Very tired but he manages to smile and hold up a hand in objection. ] There's no need to apologize, Eleytheria. I mean it's not as if we have such people come through here all the time or anything like that. I'm just glad I could help, and maybe we should put up some sort of barrier around the tree as well. It couldn't hurt to do so.
