For all of those who may have been concerned, I have returned from the previous mission.

I am well, though I would like to give thanks to those who helped to take care of me during that time. It seems I was not prepared for the strain such extreme conditions would put on this new body of mine. I may not require sustenance in the form of food and water in the safety of the enclosure, but a scorching desert is far more damaging while I am trapped in this form. Next time, I will be more careful.

[Assuming there was a next time... He hoped he wouldn't have to get involved too often, but currently he had more than one reason to push himself.

He pauses, before continuing.]

While I am here, there is... something else I wish to discuss. I am in need of someone with a knowledge of curses. If you are willing, I would be especially grateful to hear from anyone who has suffered from such a thing and been cured of it. If not, any experiences with a curse may be of interest to me. Thank you.

[For anyone who wants to meet/check-in on Eley in person, he will most likely be resting by his tree near Cherry Blossom Tree Hill since... well even though he might not have been involved with the investigations first-hand on the mission, he's still pretty worn out. Later in the day you might find him going for a wander along the river and further into the forest.]

...Isaac. [He answers after a pause. He gives a gentle sigh as he goes on.] I know you will warn me away from him, but if he truly can help then I am prepared to allow him to. Rudy will die and suffer unnecessarily if I do nothing. I have to take what I am offered...

Indeed. He is a logical choice.
[And boy did that almost hurt to admit.]

It is help enough to have a friend to talk to. I have... found myself feeling rather unwell recently. My emotions seem to be in disarray.

[It was the only way he could really describe it. Last time he had felt like this, things hadn't ended well. He hoped that he might be able to control it better here, with friends around him.]

[Spock sounds worried for his friend.]

I feel... frustrated, almost angry. Yet I know I should not feel like this. I am ashamed of myself for failing to notice the suffering of my friend for almost a year. I am also upset that he did not seem to trust me enough to tell me... and that there is little I can do myself without the aid of others.

It is wrong of me to be upset with him. It is wrong of me to be angry at those who caused this curse in the first place. But I am, and I am not entirely sure what to do with these emotions.

[He's sure he'll find a way to get it out of his system later, he's just afraid of what happened last time he let these ill-feelings grow too far.]

To have an emotional response in this situation should not be berated Eleytheria...
If you felt nothing for your friend, I would be more concerned. Your actions are admirable, and I truly hope that with or without Mister Isaac's help, you can aid him.

[There are few things that Spock is passionate about, this is one of them.]

Even so... I am not sure how to deal with such emotions. If I do not find something to distract myself, I fear that I may lash out. It has happened before. In fact, I have already upset another, the last thing I would wish to do is harm anyone.

[Eley's not used to being the one requesting a meet-up, but in this instance he decides that it is probably a good idea.]

I am not.
Are you requesting my presence?

[This was an unexpected first. But certainly not unpleasant. Spock would be there in a heartbeat if it was Eley's wish.]

If you would not object to it then... yes, I suppose I am.

[It still felt a little odd to admit it outright, but he trusted Spock. So why shouldn't he want to spend some time with him?]

When humans feel tormented by their emotions, they often call on a friend do they not? They... go out together and do something to distract those thoughts.

You are correct. That has been my observation as well.

But I suppose the question now is, 'your place, or mine'?

... all I really have to offer is a tree. Unless you feel the need to stay outside, I suppose I will come to you.

[Eley may feel more comfortable outside, but he also felt he would be find indoors as long as he was in the company of friends.]

What you offer is sufficient. I will come to you.

[You see, Spock knows you... and knows that you don't like being indoors for very long. This time, he'll come to you.]

Where is your tree located?

[Strangely enough, Eley seems a bit surprised that he would suggest to come to him. But of course he's grateful for the consideration. He won't protest if that's what Spock really wants to do.]

Ah, very well. It is located near the Cherry Blossom Tree Hill. The tree is only small at the moment, but there are many flowers planted around it. I am sure you will have no trouble finding it.

Very well... I will be there momentarily.

[Spock shuts off the connection and makes his way out the door. Walking up the hill he looks around for Eleytheria.]

[Eleytheria is sitting by his aforementioned tree, and keeps an eye out for the Vulcan in case he somehow misses them. When he spots Spock, he gives a leisurely wave to try to catch his attention.

Despite Eley's usually stoic expressions, he looks rather troubled today.]

[Spock doesn't hesitate to come right up to where Eley is sitting.... and joins him on the ground.]

Greetings my friend. You are disheartened.. and I grieve with thee.

...thank you for coming.

[Eley begins. It was already somehow comforting just to have a friend beside him. He never thought he'd ever acknowledge that, being so far apart from people in the past.]

It is... difficult to watch someone suffer like this. It does not seem so long ago that I left a friend in my own world to suffer.

Left? May I inquire about that situation?

[Spock was curious... and he wanted to know in order to better deal with this situation.]

I was not without friends in Aether, even if I may not have grown as physically close to people as I have here...

[He pauses, reflecting on those he had left behind that he was particularly fond of. Most of all, the Agkelons, though he had favourites within their kingdom too.]

The current King of Agkelos is gravely ill and it seems that no matter how hard they try, his people cannot find a cure.

And I... cannot do anything for him either.

It is difficult to watch other suffer... however there are times when we must resolve ourselves to what is the only logical conclusion. Your King's life, like all organisms in any and all universes, may have come to an end.

What is the nature of his illness?
