12 - [Action]
[It's one of those days when Eley feels like heading into the village and perusing the shops to see if he can find anything interesting. Today, he's lucky! Or so he feels anyway, for sitting on a shelf in a brightly coloured orange bottle is some substance labelled only as 'Magic Bubbles'.
Eley had become rather interested in the concept of magic from other worlds since his stay in Luceti, so naturally he found himself wondering what kind of magic could be contained in this bottle. Obviously something to do with bubbles... was it water based then? How did it work? What exactly did it do? The Spirit had to find out for himself, so he wasted no time in taking a bottle and heading outside with it.
He'll be spending the rest of the day doing the following:
First he'll end up sitting by the fountain in the plaza and unscrewing the cap to the bottle to find a strange wand attached to it... It'll take him a while to figure out exactly what the point of it is and you'll likely find him trying to look through the hole at the end or holding it up to the light to inspect the rainbow sheen of the soapy film across the gap.
Eventually he'll try waving the wand (perhaps it's like a tiny scepter?) and thus produce a stream of small bubbles. Ah, so this wand creates bubbles? Interesting! He'll try waving it some more in long sweeping motions... until it runs out.
Not realising the stuff in the bottle is what's responsible for creating the bubbles in the first place, you might find him wandering around the village shaking the wand with varying degrees of ferocity out of frustration that his new toy isn't working anymore.
Later on, he'll have finally figured it out, so you'll likely see some stray bubbles floating around and perhaps a rather easily amused Spirit trying to make new amusing shapes out of the bubbles, or trying to make a huge one... or maybe just trying to make as many as he can by trying to master how to use the wind against the wand in the most effective way possible.
Feel free to play with him! or help him out!]

I am not above sharing with friends. And besides... sometimes sharing the moment with friends makes an activity all the more enjoyable. Do you not agree?
no subject
... But is it really necessary right now? Eley is a good friend.] All right, I'll try it.
[Work with her, bubbles!]
no subject
Especially Tear, who had already proven herself to be a worthy companion.
He readies himself too, because if she's going to let the bubbles fly, he'll play with them in his own way, using the wind. There was no reason she had to feel alone in this after all.]

Now it's her turn to watch them float I the air, the echoes of giddiness creeping in as she watches on.]

...and then brings them back again. Several of them burst along the way, the wind too powerful to hold them, but one finds its way close to them as he tones it down. He watches it with some great interest, trying to keep it hovering in the air.]
They are so fragile. It is a shame... I can only imagine what a sky full of these would look like.
no subject
Isn't that all the more reason to appreciate and value them while we can see them?
no subject
Yes, you are right. I am sure these are not the only things in the world that that could apply to as well. I can certainly think of other examples.
[Well, now he's made himself a little sad. Way to go, Eley.]
no subject
M-maybe if you tried to show others your appreciation for those things? [The hand carrying the wand is waving around just a bit frantically meanwhile, unknowingly sending a stream of bubbles right into her unsuspecting face.
... She tried.]
no subject
There is no need to be so flustered. I will be sure to show my appreciation whenever I feel it is necessary. It is only fair when others show their appreciation and respect for me.
no subject
I'm sorry, I'm not very used to reassuring people in a manner they appreciate. [Too harsh sometimes, she's been told.]
no subject
You have no need to apologise either. Are you all right? Do you need to rinse your eyes?
no subject
I should have been more careful, honestly.
no subject
And just... wait and try to take the focus off her for a bit.]
No, you were... trying to reassure me. I appreciate that, even though I did not mean for you to cause this accident in the process.
no subject
Injuring myself isn't how I usually try to reassure others.
no subject
He peers at the bottle to try to distract himself.]
At least I know not to let this substance into my eyes.
[Yes that was a big revelation to him, shush.]
no subject
I don't think they would be too hard to make, actually.
no subject
You think you might know a way?
no subject
It might take a few tries, I hope you don't mind.
no subject
[He wasn't exactly a ~domestic god~ after all, he'd never washed a dish in his life.]
But I would be fine with attempting it, even if it may take time to perfect the formula.
no subject
Would you want to try that out today?
no subject
He nods in answer to her question though!]
As long as you are not busy, I would be more than happy to try it when you are ready.

I'll be attending the summer solstice celebration being held by Saori and Helios later, but there should be enough time for this. We can go to my house for some of the materials.
