[Action]

[Eley really didn't want to be here but he knew that it was for the best. Having succumbed to Ganondorf's powers and finding himself under his control, the Spirit had assumed his dragon form and gone on a rampage. Only after being shot down by his friends, slowly overwhelmed by magic, did he find himself unable to continue. He had returned to his human form as soon as he lost consciousness and woken up in the clinic, in pain and waking from dark nightmares of his previous endeavours.

It had passed and Eley knew he would heal, but he also felt guilty for attacking his friends and he found himself afraid that something like that might happen again in future. Still he was thankful for their help and did not blame them for what they did to him.

In truth, all the Spirit wanted to do was thank them and leave this place as soon as he could.]

April 19th

[Voice]

[His voice is obviously tired, but he decides now is the time to speak out nonetheless.]

Tell me, what has become of the fiend who attacked Luceti? Is it... safe to go outside again?

(OOC: Eley after the Ganon plot! Feel free to visit him at the clinic or just chat with him.)

[Tsuzuki doesn't answer his journal entry. On the other hand, he does take the trip down to the clinic to see if he's strong enough to stand. At least Eley didn't seriously injure anyone, which is a good sign.]

Hey. How are you doing?

[He puts the chocolate and flowers on Eley's bed.]

[Though he was certainly happy to see his friend, Eley couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt when Tsuzuki came to visit, well aware of how he had behaved towards him not so long ago. He was also rather confused at the gifts he'd brought with him... he stares at them on the bed with weak eyes, wondering if they really were for him.]

I am... recovering. I will be fine given some time.

But Tsuzuki why did you bring me these? Should you not stay away after what I did to you?

I brought them because chocolate can make you feel better sometimes.

[He blinks.]

....No? Why would I?

I attacked you... with the intent to kill. You are not afraid?

[While he waits for an answer he might be opening the box of chocolates and taking one, looking it over before putting it in his mouth. Tsuzuki was right, the taste of chocolate alone helped to make things a little better.]

[Now that Eley's begun to eat of the chocolates, Tsuzuki feels more at ease.]

No, I'm not.

... [Even so the guilt was plain on his face. He gives a sigh, still unable to really look at him.]

I am sorry all the same. I should not have allowed that... man to take control of me so easily.

[Sometimes Eley hated feeling so helpless.]

It wasn't your fault. Sometimes things like that happens here.

[He touches Eley's hand, trying to ease his guilt somehow. If only he'd look at him, he'd see that Tsuzuki means what he says.]

[Being touched always seems to make him look up at least. It's instinctive for him to react in such a way since he's still not accustomed to it. But seeing Tsuzuki's sincerity just seems to make him blush. He sighs.]

If that is the case then all the more reason to try to find a way to leave. At the very least... I should do something to try to safeguard myself. And my friends.

[Tsuzuki's expression slowly changes for understanding to concern. He always feels better when Eley blushes like that, but the idea of his friend hiding away to spare his friends the potential danger is just awful.]

Please don't leave. There's no need for you to do any of that, Eley.

[The Spirit seems torn and considers his options for a moment.

Finally he speaks again.]

I will admit that I would miss my friends should I attempt to avoid them... Loneliness is a new experience for me, however I already know it to be... unpleasant.

I will find another way. I will try to make myself stronger so that this will not happen again.

[Tsuzuki understands that need to shields others from your own destructive force. He does. That's why his voice softens.]

I don't mind if it happens again. If it does, then I'll try to keep you from hurting yourself. or others.

[Eley sits a while to let those words sink in. Tsuzuki would really do that? Continue to fight against him to try to stop any harm coming to both himself and others, despite the fact he himself would be in a dangerous situation?

It didn't make much sense to Eley... but he was certainly thankful.]

I trust you. There are not many people I can say that to with such great sincerity.

[Tsuzuki knows what it feels like to be scared of what you can do, and whether your friends can be protected from you. It's not a pleasant feeling. The only thing harder is asking for help, which is why he decided to ask Eleytheria before he had to go through it. Besides, he feels connected to the dragon somehow, so making sure he's safe and sound feels right.]

I trust you, too. What happened doesn't change that.

[It was one thing for Eley to have faith in another but hearing those words from someone else actually had more of an impact on him right now than Tsuzuki probably realised. Faith in the Spirits in his world was dwindling, he knew that. There weren't many who would openly admit their trust in him or his kin anymore.]

Thank you. For everything. You have been a good friend to me ever since we have met. It... means a great deal.

[He wasn't the best at articulating his feelings since he wasn't used to posessing them in the first place but... he hopes Tsuzuki will understand.]

Don't mention it. You've been a good friend to me, too.

[Trust is rare in town, which is why Tsuzuki hangs onto it when he finds it. Despite Eleytheria being manipulated recently, he has always been honest and straightforward with him.]

Actually, I've been meaning to ask you about something.

[As he should be. Eley feels no need to tell lies or attempt to manipulate people himself. In fact he likely wouldn't know how to do it in the first place.

He tilts his head slightly at Tsuzuki's words.]

What is it you wish to ask?

[It's that honesty that makes Tsuzuki stay straightforward, too. He knows there's trust between them, and more importantly, he knows how important it is to maintain that.]

I need your help. I don't know how to explain.

[The last thing Eley expected to hear right now was a call for help, especially given what had just happened not so long ago. He wondered just what could be so difficult to explain in that case.]

I am not sure what use I can be to you but if you can find a way to explain your problem, I will be sure to listen, Tsuzuki.

[It wasn't the best of timing. Tsuzuki felt awkward about it. On the other hand, he knew the feeling that came after being manipulated into hurting people. If Eleytheria got his mind off of it, maybe he'd feel better.]

I think that... well. Luceti makes us weak. And when we can't defend ourselves properly, bad things will happen. But what if we tried to protect each other from things like that?

[Was he... asking for his protection? Eley thinks on this a moment. It's then he realises that this isn't something he was ever waiting to be asked about.]

I am sure that if I saw you in any great danger, I would protect you regardless of whether you had asked me or not. Is that not what I should do for my friends?

It is! I would do the same for you.

[Tsuzuki struggles to find the proper way to say what he thinks. It's a complicated issue, after all.]

Back home, it wasn't taken for granted. Getting help from gods and spirit was considered a privilege.

[It pleased him to hear that Tsuzuki would do the same for him. He might have showed it if he wasn't distracted by his next comment. What was he trying to say here?

He gives a slight nod.]

Of course. Even in my own world I would not approach or even speak to just any human I came across. Only the Royal Family of Agkelos have that privilege now. Well... with the addition of one other I came to accept.

Then there are the people of Luceti whom I have been forced to interact with for my own well-being.

[It's not entirely clear whether or not he considers that a good or a bad thing at this point.]
