[Action]

[Eley really didn't want to be here but he knew that it was for the best. Having succumbed to Ganondorf's powers and finding himself under his control, the Spirit had assumed his dragon form and gone on a rampage. Only after being shot down by his friends, slowly overwhelmed by magic, did he find himself unable to continue. He had returned to his human form as soon as he lost consciousness and woken up in the clinic, in pain and waking from dark nightmares of his previous endeavours.

It had passed and Eley knew he would heal, but he also felt guilty for attacking his friends and he found himself afraid that something like that might happen again in future. Still he was thankful for their help and did not blame them for what they did to him.

In truth, all the Spirit wanted to do was thank them and leave this place as soon as he could.]

April 19th

[His voice is obviously tired, but he decides now is the time to speak out nonetheless.]

Tell me, what has become of the fiend who attacked Luceti? Is it... safe to go outside again?

[Eley turned to the boy as he entered the room. He was notably weak and tired, but had enough strength to speak as he had said and done before.]

...a violent beast attacked Luceti. He appeared before me as a man and injured me before taking control. I... I was forced to fight the others. They had to stop me.

[Spock sat on the edge of the bed...]

That must have been very difficult for you Eleytheria... I am certain no one blames you for your actions.

[He was right, he was sure none of his friends would blame him when he was out of control. This was the fault of that other man. Still he somehow can't bring himself to look at Spock right now, his hands clasped together as he stares at a spot on the bed in front of him.]

...even so, I am aware that I am a danger to others. Perhaps... it would be best if I did not allow myself to live so closely with them.

Mister Eleytheria...

I must insist that such illogical thinking desist at once.
[Spock blinked... his neutral face not giving anything away.
But his eyes... his expressive eyes were concerned for his friend.]

[Feeling those eyes on him, he couldn't help but glance to the boy.]

It is illogical to wish safety for my friends? This is not the first time I have attacked others, even if this time was beyond my ocontrol...

I do not wish for them to have to harm me like this to stop me either.

Mister Eleytheria... let us say that I were to accidentally hurt you.

My strength when I am full grown is three times that of an average human male... so my chances of hurting someone is very high.
What if.. in hurting you, I blamed myself and decided that the only option was to completely remove myself from everyone around me.

What would you try to tell me in that instance?
[Expressive eyes regarded Eley... and waited for his response.]

[He knows exactly what he's getting at here and though he tries to think of another answer, he ultimately can't. Not without it being a lie.

He sighs.]

I would tell you to stay, of course. I would tell you that it was not your fault and that you should not hide yourself from others...

I understand. Perhaps then I would feel better if I learned how to protect myself from being controlled so easily. I felt... helpless in front of him.

[Spock gives Eley a small, fond smile.]

Then that is where I can also help you. Vulcans pride themselves on mental and emotional control..
I am certain that when I have returned to my original state we can meditate together.

Ah, yes, you did mention that. I would be interested to try any techniques you might wish to share with me. I am sure it will help me to move on from what has happened as well. I find my thoughts troubled of late... Though I do not often sleep, I have been met with nightmares while resting and recovering.

I have... never experienced such a thing before. I admit that they make me feel afraid.

...but I am not fully Vulcan. I find that the dreaming experience can be quite...

I am uncertain how much meditation will help you in that area... however, it seems that you need time to recover from your ordeal regardless.

[He'd never thought about dreams much before, good or bad. Perhaps the good ones weren't anything to be afraid of, but the lack of control was something he felt slightly uncomfortable about.

[He didn't want to be a burden but it was clear he didn't want to be alone right now either. He still felt vulnerable...]

[Somehow Eley felt as though he should be the one reading to Spock given his current appearance... Still, he had to admit that he'd never had anyone read to him before. Or stay so vigilantly by his side. Then again he wasn't usually around in a physical form for anyone to decide to stay by him like this.

He regards his PADD curiously as he answers.]

Yes... I would like that. Do you have many stories to tell?

Indeed... I could tell you about the Vulcan culture before the reform. There was a lot of poetry that came from that era...

[Spock proceeded to read to his friend... Hoping that he could turn Eley's thoughts into happier ones.
He would find it very disagreeable if he decided to move away.]
