It seems we have had more new arrivals to Luceti since I first arrived here. I believe it is appropriate to greet and welcome them so... welcome. My name is Eleytheria. I am a Wind Spirit. I do not know how I can be of help to you but you are welcome to approach me and... ask any questions.

[He doesn't sound too sure about that but hey, he's trying!]

[He pauses. There has been something on his mind of late, what with a new temple surfacing. Perhaps he should ask a few questions. Jane had told him to be more forward and talk to people after all...]

To everyone who is listening to this I have a rather... personal query. You are under no obligation to respond to it, but I would like to learn from you and learn from your worlds. Before coming to Luceti, I had no idea so many more worlds existed, each with their own forms of 'gods' and 'spirits', their own methods of worship. Even in Luceti it seems that there are spiritual beings residing. In my world, we Spirits were born to regulate the environment, though some newer Spirits were also born from other means... intense emotions for example. I govern the sky, the wind and the clouds. I am also a deity of sorts to the people of the floating kingdom of Agkelos. We help one another and have a strong relationship with one another.

So tell me... what do you worship? What do you believe in? How seriously do you take your religion? More importantly... have you ever stopped believing? If so, why?

Yep. There are communicating or summoning rituals for certain people, usually those with the knowledge and resources.

The old tribes of my world were also partial to rituals... though it was really up to us Spirits whether or not we showed ourselves.

Are you one of these people?

No, not at first. I used to be an oblivious person, but I've gotten involved in the supernatural one day.

Now summoning and talking with demons are a normal part of life for me. [Which is true, if you leave out certain details.]

It seems natural for humans to be ignorant of those different from them. At least at first... I am glad that your eyes have been opened, though I may not know how.

You mention demons... are demons and gods the same to you?

When you summoned demons by accident, it's hard to remain ignorant when it's obviously not a dream.

Mm, that's right. Demons, gods and even angels are all the same. The some angels may get offended if you call them demons.

That is quite the accident... of course you could not simply ignore it.

[He seems a little amused by the notion that angels might be offended by such a title.]

While I can't say I would be offended as such, I would find it rather strange to be called a demon. In my world demons are akin to monsters. Violent and evil beings. I should hope that I would not be compared to them.

They don't like being considered the same as the "evil and savage" demons. Which is true for some, but I know a number of non-evil demons.

[Those in his army, as well as others he met.]

However, I prefer using their proper titles, unless they lost my respect.

Your respect? Is it not foolish to be disrespectful to such creatures, no matter how they react to you?

[He might sound a little irritated by that statement. He had been known to grow angry in Agkelos after all and had even purged the land of those he didn't consider fit to set foot there.]

If you would prefer to use my own title, Eleytheria will do. Wind Spirit, Deity of Agkelos. Any of those are reasonable.

I don't call them by their preferred title, if they're foolish and untruthful ones.

[His enemy may be powerful, but God is not the true creator.]
