Action
[Eleytheria was very confused. Never mind that he had just woken up half-naked, his old clothes piled up neatly beside him, he was more worried about the fact that he was away from his world. He had helped to maintain Aether for thousands of years, and this was not his forest.
Then there was that... feeling, as though something were on his back. He felt behind him, then looked to see a pair if small white and gold wings resting there. He stretched them out, testing them, trying to learn to control them. They were every bit a part of him, but at the same time they felt alien. He had not put them there. He could not force them to go away. What was happening here? What strange force had torn a Spirit from his world and altered him like this?
After dressing himself to try to feel at least a little bit more normal, noticing the new holes in his clothing for the wings to slip through, Eleytheria looked down to find a book. Curious, he reached down to pick it up and flicked through it. He wasn't sure if he really understood what he was seeing...]
-Later-
[As Eleytheria wanders through the forest, trying to work out the journal he's carrying, he soon finds himself on the outskirts overlooking the village. So there are people here... Since he's unsure about just walking right into town with no idea of what kind of people he should expect, he decides to sit somewhere at the edge and observe from a distance for now.
It's then he notices that the book is also filled with people. Perhaps they all use the books to talk to one another. He could try to use his own to talk and learn more about this place.]
Voice
I am afraid that I am unfamiliar with these lands. I am lost. I am changed. These new wings of mine will not alter or fade away as I please. While I waste time trying to find answers here, my own world will be thrown into turmoil. The planet and its people will die without me. I must find a way back, no matter what the cost. As there must be people here, I look to you for help.
I... do not understand what has happened. What do I do next?
(OOC: The first part is just a description of Eley arriving! Any action will take place during the 'Later' part as he sits on the outskirts of the village. Feel free to go poke him~ Or just voice him if you want to chat. He'll come out more as he learns more.)

[Action]
[There is a little more to it than that, but even Rudy himself is still a newcomer to Luceti. Even with the guide, he isn't quite familiar with everything yet. ... Oh, speaking of which!]
Actually, has anyone shown you the guide yet?
[Action]
And then the boy mentioned a guide. He looked to his own journal, opened in front of him on the ground.]
No they have not. I was not aware that there was such a thing, but it sounds useful. Could you show me?
[Action]
[Opening up his own journal, he'll quickly search through the pages looking for the guide mentioned. It should be somewhere in these entries... Found it! There we go.
Once he brings up the guide, Rudy will hold out his journal to the other man.]
Here, take mine. It's a little long of a read, but it should explain most things about this place.
[Action]
Just... give him a while, Rudy.]
[Action]
[Sure thing, Rudy's pretty patient as it is. He'll just take this chance to find a place nearby to sit down and relax in the sun. Aside from the heat, it really was nice. Nothing wrong with a break.]
I know it's a lot to take in, but let me know if there's anything you want to ask about.
[Action]
It didn't mean he liked it though. And one thing stuck with him in particular.]
There is a war going on?
[Action]
That's... what I've heard. It does look that way.
[Action]
I refuse to take part in any war. Captive or not.
[Action]
You're... not alone there. I think there's a lot of people here who feel the same way.
[There was a draft very recently in fact, but so far Rudy hadn't managed to get drafted into it. Nor did Cecilia, thankfully. For all he could hope it stayed that way, he knows even that couldn't last forever.]
Still, as far as we know there isn't any way to avoid a draft if it happens.
[Action]
There must be a way to stop this endless fighting. A way that does not add to the violence. A way to take each ideal and find a peaceful path. To live in a place surrounded by war is torture...
[Action] 1/2
Yeah, I'm... sure there's people here who feel the same as you. They're probably looking for that way too.
[Action] 2/2
Anyway... my name's Rudy, by the way. [He'll look back up at the older man, with the same friendly tone from earlier.] Don't think I mentioned that.
[Action]
Rudy. [He repeats, testing it.] I am Eleytheria.
[Action]
Picking himself up from the ground, he'll approach the man.]
Eleytheria, huh? [Smiling, he'll offer a hand to Eleytheria.] It's nice to meet you.
[Action]
It is... nice to meet you too.
[Action]
[Action]
Is there something wrong with your hand?
[Action]
[Rudy had to admit, that was quite the unexpected response. Could it be... maybe he doesn't know what handshakes are?]
[Action]
[Yes he is very confused at this point, Rudy.]
[Action]
Well... you have to take it first. It's just a friendly gesture. [...] Here, I'll show you.
[He'll try to motion Eleytheria to take his hand. A demonstration would probably work best instead of attempting to explain it.]
[Action]
So he nodded, and took the boy's hand, wondering just what was expected of him next.]
[Action]
It's good to meet you, Eleytheria. [There, now we've got it! Smiling, he'll finally let go of the other man's hand after that.] Anyway, have you been to the village yet?
[Action]
It is... good to meet you too. [He says, assuming that was the appropriate response! He looked back to the village though and shook his head.] Not yet. I wanted to learn more about this place before venturing too close.
