[Eley is in a thoughtful mood, and when that kind of mood strikes him he starts to question things again... Feelings, usually. Human behaviours too. Today he's realised something and wants to ask the people of Luceti about it. As usual he's sitting on the outskirts of town with his journal on the ground in front of him, pointing up at his face as he looks down.]

Today I come to you with another question. 'Fun' is a concept I have not yet come to understand. As I will need to find ways of occupying myself during my stay in Luceti, I want to ask you all - what do you do for fun?

Perhaps I can give these things a try.

It depends on the person and their interests.

I usually either read, draw or collect things.

...what if you are a person born with no interests who is only just learning about such a thing?

Hmm... what kind of things do you collect? Why is it fun for you?

I'd suggest trying out a lot of things and see which one feels more enjoyable to you.

I normally collect music to listen to, and cat shaped toys because I really like cats.

[He nods. Thinking about it, he did spend a lot of time listening to music back home, though he might not have paid attention to why.]

I suppose I did enjoy listening to the musicians of Agkelos. It was something the country was renowned for.

Hmm... then you collect things that are visually appealing to you as well. Perhaps I could start a collection of my own.

What is it about cats that you like so much?

Why do I like cats?

[It's been a while since something asked him that question.]

Mainly because cats are cute, smart and have really soft fur. They just appeal to me.

[Eley tried to think of something that he might find appealing enough to collect for himself. However, nothing really came to mind.]

I will have to see if I find anything appealing enough to collect. Then we will see if I consider it fun or not. Although I do not dislike cats... but then I do not dislike many things.

That might take a while...but the journey itself can be fun and informative as well.

[Like that line about how the journey can be as important as the destination.]

It is an activity that requires patience then. Yes, I can understand that. Any project must begin somehow though, no matter how small a step is made. I wonder what I would be appealing enough to gather however... I am not a natural hoarder.

Even when you're not, it's...just something you discover for yourself.
