[If your character is lucky, they might spot a new creature in the skies for a few days. It seems that while Eleytheria has been staying in the mountains, he has discovered that he can in fact change his shape. However, his shape-shifting ability is not as free as he would have liked. Even so, he is glad to be able to use a more familiar body.

You'll find a gold and white dragon, serpent-like and graceful, circling over the village and the forest and leaving a breeze in his wake. While ordinarily this dragon would possess four small feathered wings, in Luceti he now has an extra pair - the pair that render him vulnerable. While he might be large and perhaps intimidating to some, Eley possesses no altered powers in this form and is purely enjoying an aesthetic difference. It brings him closer to his spiritual origins and reminds him of home... He had spent so long as a human now, perhaps this was what he needed. A chance to find a little freedom even if in this enclosure it didn't seem like much.

The dragon will be resting in various spots around the forest and mountains and just outside the village too, giving the people of Luceti a chance to approach if they wish.]

(OOC: Eley dragon will be here for a few days~ He won't be doing anything in particular since, save from flying, his powers are the same as usual, but if you want your character to go poke him then go for it! Also I have a WIP reference here. Sorry, no icons, you'll have to use your imagination. ): )

[Those words peak Eley's interest, that there were other god-like beings out there who seemed similarly inclined to taking other forms.]

Tell me more about these gods of yours. What relation to you have to them?

They're my best friends. Practically all I have of family by now.

[He looks towards the horizon.]

I really miss them.

[Eley missed only a few people lately and most of them had been here in Luceti, during his absence. Perhaps it was now that he realised just how lonely Tsuzuki seemed.]

I am sure you will see them again soon. I feel they are lucky to have someone like you to call family.

[Tsuzuki did feel isolated in town. Isolated and often left alone. It was something he had come to accept, even if it hurt sometimes.]

I hope so. The first thing I'm going to do then I get home is to visit them so I can give them hugs.

[Eley's sympathy doesn't go unnoticed, just like water is impossible to ignore for a thirsty plant.]

...is that what you do when you meet someone again after a long time?

[He might be asking for later, if that really is appropriate. He looks a little confused at his question though.]

Me? What about me do you wish to know?

Yes. Especially if you're close to them.

[He considers.]

If you were able to go home right now, who would you look for?

I see... [Though it may not be appropriate for a Spirit to embrace a human like that. Even so, he'll bear it in mind for the future.

He ponders Tsuzuki's question though... what would happen if he returned to Aether now?]

I suppose I would return to Agkelos and... find the King. I would have much to talk about with him.

[There's a sadness to his voice at the mention of this person. Of course Eley's been reassured that everything should be as he left it if he returned, but that didn't mean the inevitable wouldn't happen one day. Someday soon.]

The king? What would you tell him?

He is somewhat more... open-minded than the other Agkelons, especially in his later life. I am sure he would enjoy my stories of another world and the people I have met here.

He is... coming to the end of his life. Stories are all he has now since he can barely stand to go outside for too long.

Then he should be given good stories.

[He folds his hands in his lap, thinking.]

When you say open-minded, what do you mean exactly?

[He gives a slow nod at that before lowering his head and resting it on the ground now to relax. Obviously he doesn't see Tsuzuki as a threat since he feels he doesn't need to be watched all the time.]

...the Agkelons were a race born to preserve peace between all of the major kingdoms of Aether. Their trust was betrayed a long time ago and they became cut off from the rest of the world. After... I took them away, they became even more isolated and declared themselves a pure, superior race, better than those on the ground.

I too followed this line of thinking... It is only recently that things have changed somewhat.

[It's a comforting feeling, to see that someone is so at ease. Tsuzuki can't help himself, he starts to stroke Eley's head.]

You don't feel pure anymore?

[Mmm, he was enjoying this attention... moreso than he imagined he would having never been touched like this before. His blue eyes close as Tsuzuki starts to stroke his head.]

Not like that. Well... I suppose the whole of Agkelos became a little less 'pure' in fact. A ground dweller entered our kingdom after many years of absence. Before I was brought here, people were beginning to see that they were not so different after all. I began to see that too. Perhaps I was wrong to tar all humans with the same brush...

[That's cute. Tsuzuki really enjoys seeing people enjoy themselves, especially if he knows he's the reason behind it. Wings fluffing happily, he continues to pet Eley's head as they relax.]

It really helps to get to know people, yeah. But some people didn't like the idea of being 'like' them, I bet.

Mm, you could be right. Even if I tried to influence them, I am sure there would always be those who refuse to accept these people as anything but untrustworthy savages.

[He pauses at that. Then adds.]

Especially with the Spirit's influence dwindling so rapidly as a whole.

What?

[He stops the petting, simply because the revelation worries him.]

Why is the spirit losing power?

Humans have turned to technology for help and... left us behind. Some will not even acknowledge our existence anymore. I cannot say exactly what runs through their minds, but that is what is happening. We carry on regardless, but... one day we may all be forgotten and set apart from the people who live in Aether.

Belief strengthens us. We will not die, but it will leave us weak and force us to speak in only whispers. It should not bother me all that much but really... it saddens me.

I think humans will realize they're making a mistake. Technology can't replace the room in your heart where your faith is.

[He continued to stroke his head thoughtfully.]

If it makes you feel better, I promise to believe in you.

[Eley opens his eyes at that is if surprised to hear such a thing. He looks to Tsuzuki now, his blue eyes fixed on his as if trying to read him.]

Are you certain that you can keep that promise? If you can... you have my gratitude. It may not seem like much, but to me it offers a great deal of respect.

[He nods his head, suddenly very serious. Tsuzuki understands how gods and spirits works by Rules. Understanding and respecting those is so important. He strokes Eley's scales once more, before resting his hand on one of his horns.]

I wouldn't promise you that if I couldn't keep it.
