8 - [Action]
[If your character is lucky, they might spot a new creature in the skies for a few days. It seems that while Eleytheria has been staying in the mountains, he has discovered that he can in fact change his shape. However, his shape-shifting ability is not as free as he would have liked. Even so, he is glad to be able to use a more familiar body.
You'll find a gold and white dragon, serpent-like and graceful, circling over the village and the forest and leaving a breeze in his wake. While ordinarily this dragon would possess four small feathered wings, in Luceti he now has an extra pair - the pair that render him vulnerable. While he might be large and perhaps intimidating to some, Eley possesses no altered powers in this form and is purely enjoying an aesthetic difference. It brings him closer to his spiritual origins and reminds him of home... He had spent so long as a human now, perhaps this was what he needed. A chance to find a little freedom even if in this enclosure it didn't seem like much.
The dragon will be resting in various spots around the forest and mountains and just outside the village too, giving the people of Luceti a chance to approach if they wish.]
(OOC: Eley dragon will be here for a few days~ He won't be doing anything in particular since, save from flying, his powers are the same as usual, but if you want your character to go poke him then go for it! Also I have a WIP reference here. Sorry, no icons, you'll have to use your imagination. ): )

[Aragorn kept his breathing slow and steady, stepping carefully to avoid dry twigs that might snap and so alert the drinking beast. Decades of experience as a ranger in the wilds put into practice. The dragon was smaller than the creatures he had seen in the northern mountains, though those monsters could not compare in might or evil to their ancestors of old. The days of creatures like Glaurung were long past. This beast was formidable, though.]

As it was the dragon enjoyed cool water, listening to the strange chatter of the animals around him. There were smells too... and the dragon couldn't help but feel the strange sensation of being watched. He turned his head now to look behind him, his sky blue eyes fixated on a tree straight ahead. He hadn't seen anything yet, but the feeling didn't leave him. Testing the location, he summoned a strong gust of wind to carve a path through the forest ahead, to see if it would bring anything to his attention.]

[I cannot hope to fight this foul thing alone. I must return and find help - and weapons if there are any to be had. A stout stick might be a weapon against a man, but not against a dragon.]
[Back firmly pressed to the rough-barked sycamore, Aragorn waited in silence and hoped that the drake would leave and not notice him.]

Yet he was still sure that he could smell something on the wind and still his intense curiosity urged him to investigate more closely. The dragon turned then, and approached the trees slowly, carefully. He sniffed the breeze as he blew through the trees, his long neck stretching between them and his nose passing right beside where Aragorn stood hidden against the tree.]
Human?
[The word echoed within Aragorn's mind - the dragon's way of speaking, though without seeing anyone to address specifically the stray sound seemed to latch onto the nearest target.]

[Moving as silent as an owl in flight, Aragorn steps around his protective tree, edging further from the beast.

He'll try once again, just in case.]
If there is a human here then you may show yourself. I will not harm you unless you give me reason to. If not... I am a fool. I may as well leave this place.

I am here, beast.

I am no rabid beast. I am a Wind Spirit and a god among my people. Again, I wish you no harm. You may not know it, but we have already met.

I would recall meeting a dragon, beast. I have seen dragons in the northern mountains, but not met them.

[He speaks again with a shake of his head.]
When we first met I did not take this form. You had only just arrived. We met atop a hill near the village while you had not yet found clothing or shelter.
[He stretches out his wings - white with gold tips, the same colour that Eleytheria's would have been when in human form.]
Do you remember? You asked why the people had wings.

On the hill above the village... but that was a man, or something shaped like a man. You can... change your form? Are you a man disguised as a dragon, or was the shape of a man the disguise?
no subject
I can change my form. I am actually a Spirit and in truth I would have no form at all. However this form is the one I normally take in my home world when interacting with humans on a more physical level. The human form... that is something that was granted to me when I was taken here. I would not have chosen it otherwise.
I feel that I will not be able to assume the form of a dragon for too long at a time, however. The Malnosso hampers our abilities and it already took great effort to change in the first place.
