[So you probably didn't notice that Eley was gone from Luceti for a brief time, but you might notice that there's something strange flitting around the enclosure right now. It appears to be nothing more than a glowing orb of light, but it's donning the Filial wings of a Lucetian, in white and gold. When it speaks, it speaks into your mind, but the voice probably doesn't seem all that familiar - it's rather more... small and weak in tone.
Whatever this strange thing is, it doesn't appear to be dangerous. You'll find it hovering around all over the enclosure, from the village to the forest and possibly even beyond. Sometimes it'll seem to take a liking to someone and drift around their head for a while and when it gets tired, you'll find it perched on a branch or other small outcrop.
Maybe you should investigate? After all it appears to be harmless and it is rather pretty~]
(OOC: SO BASICALLY Eley underwent a Mallynap, albeit a short one since I decided not to go the full hiatus route in the end, oops. But he's now been robbed of his human body and is showing himself as the 'essence' of the Spirit he really is (plus wings of course). He'll be flitting around a lot like Navi from Zelda, so have fun~ And sorry for the failicon >>)

To his surprise, apparently this world's economy is some nutty thing where clothes are totally free, and he emerges in a red-orange shirt that totally clashes with his hair, a black hooded jacket, a pair of khaki pants, and a yellow-black checkered scarf that reminds him, faintly, of one he'd used to own, even though the pattern is different. (The checked pattern also reminds him a little of Roxas, in a way.)
The shirt has holes for his ridiculous wings, but the jacket doesn't, and even though Lea was freezing up to this point, the insulation of the feathers at his back and actually, you know, being clothed has him feeling a lot better. So he decides to walk around town.
Halfway down one street, he spots a... a little mote of light just floating down the opposite way. And it has wings, just like the rest of them. What in the heck...?
Lea stops and ends up staring at the little light orb, wondering what it is. ]

On his journey though, the Spirit's passing by several strangers who he assumes must be New Feathers. What great timing to be stripped down to his very essence... He notices one stranger in particular who seems to have caught sight of him, and the two end up in some kind of strange standoff, staring each other down for a while (as much as an orb of light can 'stare' at least).
Finally, Eley decides to come a little closer to investigate, darting around Lea's fiery red hair as if trying to get a closer look at him. A small voice penetrates his mind as the Spirit speaks.]
I do not recognise you... Perhaps we have just never met, but could it be that you are a New Feather?

In this form however, he was small and felt... well, rather insignificant. Not that he'd tried to use his powers yet, so maybe he could still whip up something impressive if he attempted it.
At the moment he was more worried about getting out of this vulnerable state. He spots Mai paused and staring, and starts heading in her direction, flitting around rather like an oversized, shiny fly. As with everyone, his small voice penetrates her mind when he speaks.]
Can you hear me?
[Action]
...yet he isn't quite expecting to see someone very familiar walking past and isn't sure whether to feel relieved or ashamed when his friend appears to spot him. He's not sure why he should feel ashamed... aside from usually being invisible to the eye, this was the closest a human would get to seeing his true essence, but at the same time perhaps Eley felt that he was somehow... naked in this form.
Still, the Spirit was also trying to seek comfort. He stretches his wings again and starts to flutter down towards Saleh, hovering in front of him. His voice is slight and weaker than normal when it enters his mind, so no doubt Saleh wouldn't recognise who he was speaking to here.]
I am glad you are here. I had hoped to meet a friend before long.
[Action]
[When the essence seems to hover in front of him, Saleh becomes puzzled, and even more so when he hears the voice in his mind, seeming to recognize him.]
You...know me? Forgive me, but...what are you?
[Action]
I am... Eleytheria. Though I know I do not appear that way to you now.
[Action]
[When Eley drifts to the ground, Saleh crouches down to better look at him and also bring himself closer to his level so as not to appear too condescending.]
What happened? Is this...another form of yours?
[Action]
[How was he to explain this? A Spirit could have many forms if it really wish to, yet it wasn't something he was capable of in Luceti, nor was it something that Eley would choose to do willingly.]
I was... taken by the Malnosso. While it would usually be possible for me to appear this way, I would not do so by choice. When I returned here, I had lost my body. They had exposed the essence of what I really am.
...I feel weak.
[Action]
Perhaps you could rest? At least until you get your body back?
[Assuming he would get his body back. These kidnapping conditions were usually temporary, after all.]

And then, somehow, via some other medium than physical sound, it talks to him. ]
Yaahh!
[ Lea's immediate reaction is to yelp and jump again. Then, delayed by a second, he realizes what it asked. The fact that whatever-it-is seems to be speaking straight into his head and not with an actual "voice" means that despite his shout, he hears and comprehends what it says without having drowned any words out. ]
I'm, uh - a what? [ New fea-- like, a new guy? Is that what they call the new guys here? ] Uh, yeah, I'm new - sorry, what are you?

Forgive me... I did not mean to startle you. I am a Wind Spirit, though it seems we have met at a rather unfortunate time. While the Malnosso provided me with a human body upon my arrival here, they have since taken it away from me. It should feel liberating... but I find myself hoping that it does not last for too long.
[Action]
[While Eley knew that these things happened, he never really expected it to be his turn. And now his turn had arrived, he wasn't sure what to make of it. Surely these effects shouldn't be for too long. Why was he so worried?]
I find it rather strange that I should... somehow miss being human. If this had happened before, I would have accepted it as a gift.
[Action]
[Saleh nods in understanding.]
Perhaps you've come to enjoy being human...or at least have gotten accustomed to it.
Action;
... Yes?
Action;
[He comes to a stop now, hovering just in front of her.]
I believe you were the one asking about knives, yes? You seemed rather... abrasive.
[Action]
[Eley wasn't sure if he should feel glad for it or not though. Sure, he had learned and experienced many new and enjoyable things, but... should he return to Aether, would he not just go back to being the true Spirit he once was? Would those residual emotions still haunt him? There were people there he could talk about them with, yes, but... very few that he actually trusted. Unlike here. With that old mindset, he wasn't sure if he'd even consider reaching out either.]
I am not myself anymore, that much I know. While this form is liberating, it also feels alien. Am I really trapped between being a human and a Spirit?
[There's a faint whisper of a sigh.]
What is my identity?
Action;
sorry for the delay ugh wow
So you're a wind spirit. Why'd you need them to give you a human body if this is your normal form?
[ More importantly... The Malnosso can construct empty bodies for a wandering bodiless spirit to use? Considering the entire point of the Replica Project was to see if that very thing could be done for Xemnas's purposes, he doesn't like the sound of that. In fact, the more Lea hears about the Malnosso, the more he doesn't like the sound of them. ]
It's okay! :3
[Eley's opinion of them had soured considerably since is arrival here too. He had lived here for over a year and learned much about their kind. Even though this was not his world and therefore not his responsibility, he found himself angry at them more often than not. The blue orb flickered orange as if suggesting a shift in emotion.]
[Action]
Some people view Luceti as a second chance. A chance to live a life they wish they've had in their own worlds. You may be duty-bound as a Spirit in your own world...but here, you may do as you wish.
So your identity...whether you choose to live as a human or as a Spirit...that is entirely up to you.

[ Lea can sympathize with the whole "getting used to emotions" thing. After spending eight years without a heart, eight years empty and grayed out, being whole again is near-overwhelming. It's not that he'd ever wish to lose his heart again, but sometimes he wishes the damn thing had a "mute" or "lower volume" button. ]
And nobody likes being changed without their permission like that.
[ Lea shrugs sympathetically. ] Wish I could help you, uh, wind spirit... guy. [ Pause. ] Do you have a name, something you go by?
no subject
If he had a face, he might have looked rather sheepish about not introducing himself. He still wasn't used to approaching humans face-to-face like this.]
Ah yes, I am Eleytheria. [He pauses, before adding...] Though some have taken to calling me simpler things, if that is easier for you.
no subject
[ Yeah, that is a mouthful (and Lea probably mispronounced it or accented the wrong syllable)... but on the other hand, it can be exhausting if you have a name and no one wants to call you by it. ]
El? Ria? Big E? It's your call.
[ Better introduce himself while he's at it. ]
Anyway, my name's Lea. Got it memorized?
no subject
[Beat already called him a myriad of things, namely 'Fluffs', so he was starting to get used to having strange nicknames by now.]
And I will try to remember that name. Lea... I am sure we will meet again in future once the Malnosso see fit to return my body to me.
