As he's an OC, here's some condensed information about Eleytheria's world for reference.
Continents and Kingdoms
Bravura
The Bravurian Empire is the nation that holds the greatest amount of power in the world of Aether and is located on the largest continent in the Circle Sea, as well as taking hold over some small islands. It is an industrial nation that relies on heavy machinery and weaponry to survive and protect itself. Because the continent of Bravura itself is so large however, there are plenty of natural landscapes away from the Capital and smaller towns and villages dotted around that live more alongside nature. Some examples being the musical town of Volkslied on the outskirts of the Great Forest and the village of Cambiare located in a river valley.
The empire is ruled by a very young emperor named Leo who has a bad reputation among the people for being incredibly paranoid and cruel to those who cross him. It is generally not a happy nation and provocation usually leads to a sudden war.
Volante
Volante is a continent that celebrates beauty and knowledge. At the south are fields, bamboo forests and a strange area of petrified woodland that nobody goes near. To the north, the land gives way to tundra and tall snowy mountains.
Volantean people are incredibly vain and have a general thirst for knowledge, so many grow up to be researchers and inventors. Their technology is unique and efficient and some claim, the best in the world. Some Volanteans believe that they are actually a part of the Holy Race of Agkelons, but were unfortunately left behind when the continent of Agkelos was lifted to the skies. As such, they consider themselves above the other races on Aether and aren't particularly friendly to outsiders.
The Volantean kingdom is ruled by the beautiful Queen Hotaru who keeps slaves like dolls and treats all outsiders as suspicious, feeling they will steal the secrets that make this kingdom so great.
Esperando
Esperando is the third largest nation on the Circle Sea. It is a wild and tropical nation made up of a vast desert, murky swampland and tropical rainforests, and it is also renowned for its wealth of gold. It is also said to be the oldest nation in the world. Many small tribes still live in the forests and swamps and worship the Spirits their ancestors did before them, but some moved on to greater things and founded towns and cities instead. Eleytheria used to favour the swamps of this land and grew close to the people there, but was later betrayed when belief in him dwindled.
Esperando is split into two and one king rules each side. In the wealthiest part of the continent, the greedy King Cruz rules, hoarding gold and women for himself and driving the less fortunate to live in slums around the golden capital. In the marshy regions lives a kinder king named Queque, who lives more by tradition and tries to keep the faith in Spirits alive.
The desert is said to be home to a monstrous ant-lion, but this is just a legend and it has never been found. Many old temples also litter the land and are potentially full of treasures and historical artifacts.
Agkelos
Agkelos is a relatively small continent that many believe used to reside in the center of the Circle Sea between all other continents. Its people were created to uphold peace between the kingdoms by maintaining a tranquil and heavenly atmosphere, opening the doors to all who wished to enjoy what the Agkelon paradise had to offer. Unfortunately this led to them being used in the end and conflicts soon broke out between the kingdoms regardless of how nicely the Agkelons were treating them. Eleytheria took them to the skies and claimed them as their own, shielded them with thick cloud, and now Agkelos has become known as a legendary kingdom to those living on the ground.
Agkelos itself is a land of hills, plains, forests and white mountains. Many of the buildings are made from the same substance as the mountains - a rock known as Sky Ivory, that is both lightweight, durable and gives off a soft glow at night after absorbing sunlight. The Royal Palace and the surrounding Capital of Agkelos itself are perched on the highest point of the continent. Just outside the city is a large plain of flowers called the Paradise Lands.
The kingdom is currently ruled by the kind King Ilios and his wife Selini, though Ilios himself is suffering from a seemingly incurable illness. They have a son, Prince Altairia Aspros or Altair for short, who has recently returned to them after falling from the continent and received the nickname 'Nox' from the ground-dwellers. Eleytheria is very fond of the king and protective of the prince.
The Isle of Were
Little is known about the secretive Isle of Were, not even its location. It is a place full of myths and legends, of people who are half-animal. People known as 'Drachen' dwell there. They are dragon-like half-breeds, capable of breathing a small amount of fire and possessing horns, tails and unusually coloured eyes and hair. They are also an oppressed race and used as workers and slaves for the humans who live there. If one steps out of line or becomes dangerous, they are tranquilised and removed... to an unknown location, yet they never return. It is said that they are experimented on when seen to be too much of a risk to humans and disposed of accordingly. Nobody knows what these experiments are for however...
Ancient Temples
On each major continent exists a large temple complex, seemingly abandoned and old beyond measure. They are the subject of much discussion amongst scholars and adventurers though nobody has yet found a way in (and lived to find a way out again, at least). Many believe each site is as old as the planet itself and that each one holds a secret about the distant past. Each temple seems to have been built in reverance of a major Spirit, but even the Spirits choose not to reveal any hidden knowledge. Oddly, each temple also depicts a type of beast-like people, therefore some believe that the mysterious Isle of Were may be connected to them in some way.
Creatures and Plants
Dragons
Dragons in Aether come in many shapes and sizes and some are also more common than others. The most intelligent breed are the Silver Dragons who reside in the Ivory Mountains in Agkelos. They are capable of telepathic speech and show raw emotion. They are fiercely protective of their own kind and their territory, which has led to an eternal battle between the dragons and the knights of Agkelos. Though Agkelons generally treat all dragons as their enemies, there are some who are rebelling against that idea and fighting for a truce between the two sides.
The dragons found in the rest of Aether are generally regarded as the same as other wildlife and are hunted down or respected depending on individual beliefs. Some Spirits do show themselves as dragons though so some may be held in high regard by the tribes of Esperando.
Skyverns
Skyverns are a small species of dragon found in forests in Agkelos. They are about the size of a large parrot and like to climb as well as fly. Their front legs are modified into feathered wings and they also sprout feathers on their head and tail, some around their neck as well. Females tend to be more vibrantly coloured than males and males can have bad tempers. Some Agkelons have accepted them as pets.
Feathered Dogs
These dogs are a more common pet found in Agkelos. They are dogs of all shapes, sizes and colours, and their most common trait is a fan of feathers on each shoulder resembling small wings, though they can't fly. Some have feathers on their ears, chest, tail and legs as well. The Royal Family's feathered dog Skylos, is widely regarded as a rare breed. He has sky blue and white fur and feathers of many colours and is also quite large.
Prism Flowers
The Paradise Lands outside of Agkelos are covered in these medium-sized white flowers, that much resemble star-shaped lilies. By day they absorb the sunlight and by night they release the lights like tiny fragments into the sky, making the place glow. Like the Sky Ivory, it is unknown to the Agkelons why this happens.
